Description of service(s) The mandate of the NBRC is to provide free bilingual legal services to refugee claimants and persons making humanitarian-based immigration applications in New Brunswick who cannot afford a private lawyer. 
 
Our services are not only crucial for refugee claimants and other persons in need of humanitarian immigration services in New Brunswick, they also provide significant legal education and research opportunities to practicing lawyers, law students and other members of the community.
