| Description of service(s) | Worship Team Mckees Mills’ worship team goal is to praise God in song, and to lend our voices and instruments with the congregation in worship. The group is made up of voices, and piano, bass, drum, guitar and occasionally, harmonica, mandolin, and sound track. Anyone who loves to sing, play an instrument, and praise and worship the Lord Jesus, is more than welcome to join in. The music genre is fairly eclectic; ranging from contemporary songs and choruses, hymns southern gospel, country and anything in between. The atmosphere is very relaxed; our aim and goal is to fellowship the Lord together in song and music, making a “joyful noise” unto the Lord. Sunday School Classes A Sunday school class is provided during the Sunday morning worship service (11:00 am – 12:00 pm). Children ages 3-12 are invited to go down stairs and enjoy a fun lesson including stories from the Bible, games, crafts, songs and a snack. Nursery Program During the morning service we have a nursery for the littles ones to attend. Ages range from newborn to four years old. They will be loved and cared for which in turn will allow the parents to relax during the main service and enjoy a time of worship and hearing about God’s word. Ladies Bible Study The ladies Bible study group meets every second Tuesday 10 A.M. until noon. We begin with refreshments and lively conversation in the fellowship room of the church. The meeting closes by sharing any prayer requests we have with one another. Adult Bible Study This study uses a combination of movie clips, reading God’s word and discussion to build one another up in the faith. Bible study goes from 9:30 to 10:30, Sunday morning at McKees Baptist Church. Refreshments are provided. |
