Description of service(s) Purpose of the FTC is to be the community voice for the promotion of an environmentally friendly "Green Way" transportation network and recreational trail system that aims to enhance the health and quality of life for those who live in and visit our city.

Eligibility Trails are open to people of all ages for use for walking, running, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing. Trails are maintained to allow mobility assist electric scooters for the disabled. The City trails are <Greenway trails> meaning no internal combustion motors permitted. Motorized vehicles, such as ATV's, mopeds/scooters or motorcycles are NOT allowed on our multi-use greenway trail system.

Accessibility Anyone from the community can access our trail system from numerous locations throughout the City. We have over 120 Kms of trails on both sides of the river and in which 28 kms are paved and ploughed in the winter season and 24/7 use.
