Description of service(s) In addition to running a thrift store, the Salvation Army in Miramichi serves hot meals and offers Family Service Emergency Assistance to those in Need:  
 
Assistance with food & clothing vouchers, toiletries, medical & emergency transportation, short-term accommodation, furniture, household items 
 
Assistance with heat/hydro (when resources available) 
 
School Supplies (when resources or supplies are available) 
 
Sponsor kids camp spots at Salvation Army Scotian Glen Camp in Nova Scotia 
 
Christmas Hamper food and/or toys for families who register a need 
 
Spiritual counseling upon request
Hours Family Services Emergency Assistance - CALL FIRST at 622-7826 to make appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 2:30pm 
 
Friendship Supper served upstairs above the Thrift Store on Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:00 and 4:45 pm (Oct 12, 2016 to Dec 12, 2016 and January 4, 2017 to May 17,2017 (closed on Statutory Holidays).
Dates Program is Offered suspended at this time due to Covid 19
