Description & Services | |
Description of service(s) | The Hampton Community Garden is a volunteer-run organization. It is project of the St. Paul's Anglican Church, in partnership with Hampton's Communities in Bloom committee. Our goal is to create an environment where people can work together, learn and share, and provide fresh, healthy food for themselves and the Hampton Food Basket. This is an organic garden. Insecticides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers are not permitted. There is no fee for a garden plot. Donations are welcome and the recommended amount is $30 per family. There is a limit of one plot per family. After May 1, remaining plots are available for those who want a second one. Everyone is expected to help with the Food Basket plots, and the ongoing maintenance of the garden. |
