Cross Reference Mentorship Program
Description of service(s) The Workplace Mentorship for Newcomers program aims to provide sector specific workplace experience for newcomers in Southern New Brunswick. The program encourages community engagement and relationship building, which will assist newcomers in making informed decisions regarding their long-term career goals within the Canadian workplace setting.

How do I become a Mentor? 
Do you find yourself wanting to make a difference in your community? Would you like to help a newcomer or a multicultural woman feel welcome in their new community? Would you like to learn about other cultures and enjoy sharing our Canadian Culture and heritage? 
If you are patient, a good listener, and said YES! to any of the above, you will find becoming a Mentor a rewarding experience! 
To become a Mentor with PRUDE Inc. we ask you: 
- Are you at least 19 years old? 
- Are you able to meet a minimum of only four (4) hours every month for  
five (5) months? 
- To successfully complete the screening process

If you are a from a multicultural community or a newcomer woman or teen AND:  
- Are at least 16 years old; 
- Have little or no experience of community involvement  
-Are able to meet a minimum of four (4) hours every month for five (5) months; 
- Complete a one-on-one interview with the co-ordinator
