Description of service(s) | We are a k-8 school located near the Moncton Hospital. We are proud to offer excellent teaching in Academics as well as Technology, Art and Music. Our dedicated staff support numerous extra-curricular activities throughout the year including sports teams, drama, choir and chess club. In our effort to raise children who will contribute to their world, we support many community events every year including the IWK "Change Bandits", "Fill the Bus" and collecting pop can tabs which are melted down to make wheelchairs. The staff at Queen Elizabeth School work hard to encourage positive behavior and encourage everyone to gather as many ROCKs as possible during the school year. ROCK stands for Respect, Ownership, Communication and Kindness. MISSION STATEMENT Quality Education - Engaged Students - Success for All VISION Queen Elizabeth School teaches children the skills, responsibilities, and attitudes necessary for success in today's challenging society. Our service area is one of diverse cultural, social, economic, and liguistic backgrounds. Queen Elizabeth School needs to be the centre of the community and become a place where all groups can work and play together. VALUES At Queen Elizabeth School we respect people and property, we own our actions and words, we communicate openly and honestly and we are kind to others. |
