Description & Services
Description of service(s) Welcome to The Fredericton Society of Artists.

We are a group of artists from diverse backgrounds and levels of ability, all located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and interested in promoting FSA's constitutional goals: ". . . to foster the practice of painting and graphic arts in Fredericton and to cooperate with other organized bodies in support of similar interests." Besides, we have fun!

We are in the process of building individual web pages for our members for the display of their work and their personal contact information. These pages can be found in the Gallery section. As well, you may wish to visit Links to a few FSA members' personal web sites and other interesting sites featuring art.

If you live in the Fredericton area, please be sure to visit our Membership page to find out more about us and our activities. Better still, why not attend a meeting or two to get a feel for us? There is no obligation to join.

Other Details
Meetings Our meetings are held from September to May on the fourth Tuesday of each month, with the exception of December when the annual Christmas Party is held on the second Tuesday. During the past few years, our meetings have been held at Old Government House. Meetings commence at 7:00 p.m. and the business portion generally runs for 45 minutes.

Following the business meeting, we usually have a guest speaker/critic who presents a topic and/or critiques the works which members have brought to the meeting. A social time sometimes follows.

If you think FSA is just what you have been looking for, you are invited to attend a meeting or two without obligation. This gives you a chance to "check us out", so to speak, before you decide to join. Come join us and enjoy the atmosphere and comraderie.
