Description of service(s) Hampton High School opened in September 1992 to alleviate the overcrowding at Kennebecasis Valley High School where Hampton’s high school students were attending. The Hampton Community Theatre was added after a major fundraising campaign by the community.  
During the first four years when Hampton High housed grades 10, 11 and 12 enrollment ranged from 608-613 students. In August 1996 grade 9 students from Hampton Junior High School moved into Hampton High to begin the first year of the Foundation Program and enrolment jumped to 784. In August 1997 grade 9 students from Macdonald Consolidated School moved into Hampton High and enrolment rose to 836 students. It was at this time four additional classrooms were added to the existing structure.
