Description of service(s) Central Valley Adult Learning Association Inc. (CVALA) has a mandate to offer adult education programs and focuses on improving literacy levels. CVALA, Inc. is a registered charity formed and incorporated in 2008 and is mandated to deliver free adult education programs. CVALA offers academic and digital literacy programs which are located throughout York, Queens and Sunbury counties and are supervised by CVALA’s full-time Executive Director. The Digital Literacy Program provides a mobile service that offers a ten week computer training program to help people achieve basic computer skills. The Academic Program focuses on academic upgrading to the GED level to prepare learners for the GED exams.
