|Description of service(s)||Our Hot Yoga
Our classes offer an individualized approach where each student is encouraged to tune in with their body's wisdom and to move through class with a sense of gratitude for all they are capable of. Our practice embraces the balance of strength and relaxation available in each posture, and each breath. Classes are fine tuned by our teachers creativity to enable each class to be a little different. Pushing through your perceived limitations and opening into fresh potential in mind and body
Lunch Yoga: Stretched for time? Join us at 12:15pm for a condensed practice that still embodies the strength, flexibility and restorative postures that will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. (45 minutes).
Hot Yoga: A great practice for BEGINNERS because of the basic sequencing of poses. Our Infrared heat facilitates a detoxifying sweat & helps flush impurities from the body. Empower yourself as you connect to your internal strength and reveal focus and balance.
Warm Flow: Breath and body moving as one. This practice creatively weaves postures together to strengthen the entire body while the continuous movement brings an element of meditation to the practice. Flow classes are stimulating and transformative, a great class for those seeking a physical and meditative practice. Come prepared to sweat and skillfully expand physical and emotional boundaries.
Warm Flow & Yin: Practiced in a moderately heated room. Warm the body up inside and out! Explore the depths of yoga as you flow through a guided Vinyasa practice incorporating hand balancing, inversions, backbending. Then melt your muscles with deep stretching with Yin Yoga.
Yoga Flow: Let this fun, uplifting yoga practice make you sweat from the inside-out! An energetic flow class, linking breath and movement, designed to help you access strength, flexibility, and balance. Our flow yoga instructors are influence by various traditions, check out their bios to see whats inspired them!
Yin Yoga: A deep, grounding and balancing practice. This class will take you through a series of poses designed to open the connective tissues of the body. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Practiced in a warm environment to support the bodies ability to open and lengthen. This more meditative style is great for improving flexibility, while maintaining joint mobility and bone health.
Hot Athletica: A DFI signature service, created by owner Dave MacEachern. This truly dynamic class combines all the best that DYNAMIC FITNESS has to offer. This hot class is designed to boost your metabolism, burn calories and take you to your 'ATHLETIC' edge! HOT ATHLETICA is a 45-minute mix of high-intensity cardio intervals, strength training, core work, and power yoga in the warmth of 95 degrees.
Budokon: "the way of the warrior".
The art of Budokon unites movement, yoga, and martial arts while using ideas of connectivity. This style is best described as a transition based hath yoga flow with continuous circular rotation. In this practice we acknowledge both the warrior and the yogi, come explore with us!
Kundalini: Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic system combining breathe work (pranayama) , postures, meditation, with the use of sound and rhythm through mantras. This practice is used to awaken you to your creative potential. This experience occurs when your glandular system combines with the energy of the nervous system to create such a sensitivity that the totality of the brain receives signals and integrates them. Come experience the spiritual energy that Kundalini has to offer.
Karma Class: An uplifting practice where all proceeds go to support local charities.. Make sure to arrive early! 60 minutes.
