Description & Services
Description of service(s) Commercial gallery representing the best in Atlantic Canadian art since 1976 - paintings, original multiples, sculptures, vessels, jewellery.
Gallery 78 boasts the broadest selection of fine art in Eastern Canada. While focusing primarily on the artists of Atlantic Canada with an emphasis on New Brunswick, no singular aesthetic genre is espoused. Both established and emerging artists are represented in painting, sculpture, print and fine craft. Native and Acadian art are also featured.
The Gallery is the sole dealer in Atlantic Canada
for such internationally acclaimed artists as
Bruno Bobak, Molly Lamb Bobak, Anne Dunn and Joe Plaskett. A fine selection of historical Canadian art is also available and the gallery represents the estate of the late Pegi Nicol Macleod.
We offer equal hospitality and counsel to all who have an interest in fine art, welcoming both the first time visitor and the experienced collector. Gallery 78 prides itself on fulfilling the needs of the novice as well as the seasoned art connoisseur. We serve a clientele of corporate, private, and public collectors in Canada and abroad.
Our promotion of and commitment to the arts has earned us the distinction of being the only New Brunswick gallery ever to be conferred membership in the prestigious Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC).
