Description & Services
Description of service(s) ECW is contacted frequently to assist individuals in tackling environmental issues ranging from reporting algal blooms on our coasts, rivers and streams, to illegal dump sites, or who to contact when they find a dead bird, etc. In the past we have helped lake associations with concerns through the Community Lake Education program, conducted the Beach Sweep and Adopt-A-Shoreline programs, restored a salt marsh in Little Lepreau, facilitated Gulf of Maine Youth Environment Camps, educated students about energy efficiency, and coordinated the Oiled Wildlife Rehabilitation program.
