Cross Reference Family Violence and Sexual Assault Outreach Program
Description of service(s) CAAR is a non-profit, charitable organization that works towards prevention of violence. The ultimate goal is the prevention of violence and abuse, through awareness, education, community partnerships, and providing the direct services to clients whose lives are affected by these issues. CAAR believes that men, women, and children have the right to live without physical, sexual, financial and emotional abuse. 
-Crisis intervention/individual support 
-Support by being a liaison to other community agencies/resources 
-Accompaniment to hospital, police station, court, etc. 
-Provides safety planning and danger assessments 
-Basic needs assessment: Food, shelter/housing, transportation, child care, criminal justice, healthcare and budgeting 
-Goal planning and action plans 
-Follow-ups 
-Referrals for community services 
-Free service in a safe and secure meeting place 
-Answers to clients' questions 
-Help clients identify and assess their options 
-Educational sessions in schools, community groups and other agencies on healthy relationships, bullying, and elder abuse 
-Workshops and information sessions to community groups 
-Community awareness and education on the subject of abuse 
-Developing and the implementation of training programs and workshops
Hours Mon. to Fri. 8:00am-4:30pm - Hours are flexible

Areas Served Albert County ; Westmorland County ; Greater Moncton area including rural locations within Westmorland and Albert County areas, which includes the following regions: City of Moncton and Dieppe, as well as the villages of Sackville, Memramcook, Salisbury, Petitcodiac, Dorchester, Irishtown, Hillsborough, etc.
