Description of service(s) La Leche League volunteers assist mothers to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, education, information, and encouragement and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as important in the health development of the baby and mother.  
Offers telephone support, monthly support group and a lending library and up to date information concerning issues around breastfeeding.  
All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend monthly Group meetings. Anytime is a good time to come to a La Leche League meeting: when pregnant, with a new baby or when considering weaning.
Dates Program is Offered Meeting is held the last Monday of the month. Contact leader for meeting location.

Eligibility Open to pregnant/breastfeeding women, expectant mothers, grandmothers and girlfriends.

Fees Membership - A membership can be purchased to help support the group - but is not necessary. Meetings and support are free.

Meetings Last Monday of the month, Rotary Park, Dieppe.
Print Material Catalogue of breastfeeding, parenting, pregnancy, nutrition books, pamphlets dealing with medical, pumping, returning to work situations, slings, pumps. Also a group lending library with same titles. French language breastfeeding book available at our library and to order.
Designated Day/Week/Month/ Events 1st week of October is celebrated as World Breastfeeding Week each year.
