Description & Services
Cross Reference NBEA
Description of service(s) The NBEA serves as an umbrella organization for all equestrian activities and promotes horsemanship at all skill levels through education.
The organization functions at two levels in New Brunswick, Regionally and Provincially. We enjoy a lot of activity at these levels and as a member of N.B.E.A. you are automatically a member of both levels. As a member of one of the eight regions in N.B., you have the opportunity to elect a representative to the N.B.E.A. board each year.
"The Representative" has two roles:
*As a liaison, they represent your area's needs to the N.B.E.A. Board and bring back relevant information.
*They compile the regional profile or requests for funding from your area and submit this information to the Sport Branch.
Provincially there are: Newsletters, Coaching Clinics, Evaluations, Exams and Updates, Officials Clinics for Course Designers and Judges, Skill Development Clinics in Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Distance Riding, and Western, Upgrading of Facilities, Planning Sessions and Evaluations.
N.B.E.A. has approximately 1600 members. You the members have a responsibility to make all equestrians aware of our organization and encourage them to join.
