Description of service(s) CISV is a global community of dedicated volunteers, creating opportunities for all ages to experience the excitement and enrichment of cultural diversity through our educational programmes. CISV educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world. We are founded on our belief that peace is possible through friendship - and that the real difference can be made by starting with children.  
 
CISV offers a range of multicultural & learning experiences to youth and adults, providing the opportunity to experience the CISV philosophy and live our values. Find out more about our exciting and diverse activities. 
 
CISV Chapters around the world host a range of programmes for different age groups. Each chapter is supported by a membership base - family and individual adult memberships and governed by a Board of Directors. CISV Fredericton is a registered charity. 
 
CISV also endeavors to keep participation fees as low as possible. There are opportunities to participate and have fun learning at the local, national and international level. We have six unique international programmes starting with children from age 11 through to adult programs & Leadership opportunities. Participants (youth and adults)benefit through developing many personal skills, positive attitudes, and global friendships.

Meetings Local Monthly activities and youth leadership program
Designated Day/Week/Month/ Events Fredericton Chapter hosts International C.I.S.V. programs annually as well as local youth events approx once a month. July 2016 CISV is hosting a 4 week International Village Camp for youth age 11 plus their adult leader representing 12 countries. They will come to Fredericton to live, learn and build global friendships while at a local camp site. Each year approximately 25-35 youth and adults from the CISV Fredericton chapter will represent Canada at International programs hosted by other National Associations. There is a national association in 40 different countries.
