Description & Services
Description of service(s) AboutFace works to provide emotional and social support, resources and educational programs for people with facial differences and their families. Our members include those born with a facial difference or who have acquired one as a result of accident or disease. 
Services include: A series of Informational Resources and Educational Forums on medical conditions and the social issues of living with a facial difference; Peer-to-Peer Networking support for parents and individuals; Educational Programs for parents, preschool and elementary schools to address socialization issues, examine diversity issues and to promote tolerance and acceptance; phone workshop conference calls, and Youth Camping Retreats designed to address the issue of families, teenagers and adults living with facial differences; and Media Awareness to foster understanding among the general public.
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm EST

Eligibility We welcome all people living with and working in the field of facial disfigurement. Our members include newborns to seniors.
