Description & Services
Description of service(s) The Waterloo Village Neighbourhood Association is comprised of residents who live or work in the neighbourhood, volunteers, community partners, School, Community Policing, and representation from City of SJ staff and councillors. Our primary focus is to create awareness of the Waterloo Village and increase the quality of life for those living in the area! Examples of projects are the installment of flashing lights at the intersection of Paddock Streets & Coburg; revitalization of Chown Filed & Gardon of Hope on Richmond Street. The association also partners with Courtenay Bay Tenants Association on events like Music in the Park - Chown Field, Annual Clean Up, etc. 
 
The Waterloo Village serves the neighbourhood that encompasses the area from Crown St. to City Road, from Haymarket Square to Smythe St. and up Union. Also, includes Elliot Rowe and King Street East. 
 
Our mission is to create and maintain an environment that is clean, safe, respectful and caring in the Village. Our three main priorities are cleanliness, safety and improving communication in our priority neighbourhood.  
 
The Waterloo Village Association is supported through the City of Saint John's service agreement.
