Cross Reference District 3 ; Oromocto Food Bank
Description of service(s) The Oromocto Food and Clothing Bank offers services to those in need in Oromocto and surrounding communities, provides some of the basic necessities in crisis and emergency situations. Donations may be dropped off on Monday to Friday between 08:30-15:30 hours. Our Mixed Thread Thrift Store is open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-12:00.  
 
Food donations can also be dropped off in Food Bank Boxes at the following locations in Oromocto: Superstore, Sobeys and Giant Tiger. Clothing donations are also accepted at the food bank (please don't drop clothing in the food boxes). The clothing donations are very much appreciated. 
 
Offering our newly Licensed Kitchen and Community Room for a variety of rentals, including Birthday Parties, Lunch & Learns (we are happy to develop a menu for your event) Meetings, or any Celebrations. Complete with 2 restrooms, wifi and setting up to 65 people.
Hours Food distribution, and clothing bank: Tues, 10:00 am - 12 noon, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Thurs 10:00 am - 12 noon, 1 pm - 3:00pm 
 
Donations: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 15:30

Eligibility Eligibility determined through assessment interview. No age restrictions.
Application When you visit a food bank, you will be asked for information about your income, your address and your expenditures. It is important to bring the following:  
 
Identification for all family members  
Proof of your current address 
 
This information is asked the first time you visit the food bank. You will not be required to bring it at each visit but we recommend that you bring a piece of identification each time.
