|Description of service(s)||Eligibility: Female victims of family violence aged 16 and older.
Application: You can access our services by telephone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our responders offer active listening and support over the telephone. You will be asked whether you want safe lodging.
Since Serenity House is managed by the Kent Centre for the Prevention of Family Violence, you may also be able to receive service from the Centre.
Serenity House is a shelter for women and children who have experienced family violence. It offers lodging and meals for women, with or without children, as well as the services of support workers for women and children. There is also a help line (743-1530) and a resource centre.
Serenity House has victim support workers and one child support worker.
