Description of service(s) Local author and folklorist David Goss is celebrating his 40th summer offering community walks with a variety of themes that explore Saint John’s neighbourhoods on Tuesday nights (June-August) and weekend walks at New River Beach – all at no charge! also weekends at Martello Tower at usual Park admission prices. David also offers private tours that cover the ins and outs of the area’s history in a creative fashion. Freelance writing assignments as author of 18 books of local folklore and history. Frequent speaker or walk leader for conferences.

Age is not a problem, but individuals should ensure the program is acceptable to the age, i.e, some are too young for the ghost legends; others not mobile enough for the terrain on some of the events

Fees Admission - Sponsored walks are free of charge. ; Admission-Sponsored walks are free of charge. This is all of the Tuesday walks in summer; a few walks, tours, or special programs have a cost that varies from program to program and is always clearly stated. Freelance writing assignments, such a family or business histories speaking engagements, writing workshops, et are negotiated project by project.
