Description of service(s) The Madawaska / Victoria Resource Centre offers fun-filled activities, interactive programs and educational information sessions for parents and children under the age of 6 years old. Our philosophy is every family caring for a child under the age of 6 years old needs support and resources in order to live a healthy and positive family lifestyle. 
We have a wide selection of programs and services. They are: 
Mini Yoga : A 4 sessions program for children to help reinforce their physical and emotional well-being. 
Play Group 
A program for parents and their children. We involve our parents in our group in our organized activities in order to promote social interaction between parents and children.  
School Readiness : A 10 week program which provides your child the key elements to successfully transition into the school system. 
Resource Library 
Our library has a wide selection of books concerning parenting issues(ex: potty training; discipline; stress; etc.) Our books can be borrowed for a period of three weeks. 
Parenting Courses 
We offer these parenting courses: "How To Talk So Kids Will Listen" , "Siblings without Rivalries" Positive discipline and Nobody's perfect. 
Let's move : A 6 session physical activity program which includes races, exercises and plenty of fun games to get your little one to move and play. 
Car seat inspections : We offer inspections and information on car seat safety. 
Prenatal Adventures to 18 months : A 6 week program that offers great information for expecting mothers and parents of babies 0 to 18 months. 
Tunes for tots : A 6 session music program that encourages parent-child interaction while singing and playing different musical instruments. 
Breastfeeding Support Group : This service offers advice, informations ans support to all breastfeeding mothers and their family. 
Prenatal and Postnatal program for parents ages 24 and under
Hours Mon; Tues; Thurs 8:30am to 4:30pm 
Wed 8:30am to 7:30pm 
Fri 8:30am to 12:30pm
Dates Program is Offered Programs starts in September and ends at the end of June.
