| Description of service(s) | Care 'N' Share Inc. Family Resource Centre provides prenatal services as well as programs and activities that benefit preschool children and their families, and collaborates with other community groups to provide effective programs that meet the needs of the community. Care N'Share Inc. offers: Family Drop In: Families with preschool children can drop in and interact with other families. Back Pack Adventures Reading Club: A reading club for preschool children and their families that involves stories, songs, crafts, snacks and outings. Off To School: A program for parents and their children who are starting kindergarten. Pre and post natal programs and support Parenting Programs: "Nobody's Perfect": A 6 session program that focuses on safety, mind, behaviour, parents and play. "How To talk So Kids Will Listen": A 6 session program about talking and listening to your children. "Basic Cooking": a five session program on cooking basics. Kids Have Stress Too Ongoing Programs: Parent Resource library Children's Book and DVD Lending Library Parent's Craft Corner Other Events: Educational Workshops Indoor/Outdoor Playground Special Children's Activities such as Crafts, Parties, Outings Regular Board and Parent Meetings Healthy Family Fun Day Care N'Share Locations: Chipman - 341 Main St. Chipman Minto - Minto Municipal Building Doaktown - Doaktown Arena Boiestown - Upper Miramichi Elementary School Coles Island - Community Church Cambridge Narrows - Millcove Nursing home |
