Description of service(s) Public Health Nurses offer counseling, followed by a blood test that detects if an individual has the Human Immunodeficiency virus that causes AIDS. Anonymous testing means that you do not have to give your name to receive this service. Nominal testing is also available. In this case your blood sample is sent to the lab with a code that only you and the Public Health Nurse doing the testing know.
