Description & Services
Description of service(s) Our Program

Fundy Region Transition House, Inc. (FRTH) is a shelter for women and women with children experiencing abuse and violence. Our Crisis Interveners are sensitive to women's needs and offer a variety of skills and experience to help women and their families during stressful situations. FRTH provides information and referrals to local agencies such as Legal Aid, Mental Health, Income Assistance, affordable housing and Public Health. Day clients are welcome to participate in programs or access services without residing at the home. Our Child Support Worker is here to provide a supportive and safe atmosphere for children. The Children's Support Program (CSP)offers children room for healthy expression of feelings through feelings identification activities dealing with separation/divorce, self-esteem and anger management while providing support for children in crisis situations. In addition the CSP assists women when navigating the justice system for custody and access and provides a variety of programs in the schools throughout Charlotte County.
