|Description & Services|
|Description of service(s)||PFLAG Canada - Saint John
Our monthly coffee nights are for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, asexual, pansexual, intersex, and queer or questioning individuals and their parents and loved ones. Attendees will often come alone or bring someone with them. Our meetings are usually a mix of parents/loved ones and LGBTQ+ youth and adults. Attendance typically ranges between 5 and 12 people.
Our mission is to provide a non-judgmental and emotionally safe environment to increase comfort with the expression of gender and sexual diversity. This is achieved through warm and respectful discussion, Q & A, sharing participant stories and empathetic listening to the concerns of those who feel comfortable sharing them.
