Description of service(s) | The Centre for Youth Care Inc operates seven residential group homes in the city for vulnerable children and teens. We provide an integrated continuum of care for youth who are emotionally, physically and behaviorally dysregulated through a practical range of programming, living and learning experiences.Our programs focus on building positive, healthy relationships in a therapeutic environment while supporting social and academic development, emotional regulation, self-care, and integration back to the natural family when possible. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, CYC provides consistent, supportive, and secure care for our young residents. |
